Hi, I’m Violet and I’ve always been a tree hugger!

My happy childhood memories always seem to include some time out in nature – stomping in bare feet through the creek, jumping in piles of leaves, or staring up at a dark indigo starry sky.

As an adult, I’ve spent a LOT of my time digging in the dirt, pulling weeds (for fun), and planting flowers. I’ve made giant floral arrangements for weddings, helped friends start gardens, and taken ornamental horticulture classes.

When I found Self Heal School, right here in San Diego, I was excited to find a way to combine two of my passions: sharing plant medicine and working with people. I’ve just completed my Western Herbalism coursework and clinical practicum and am now seeing private clients.
